Fire Appliances and Control Systems:

Practical - Delegates will experience a fire in a controlled environment where they will be instructed on the selection and use of fire extinguishers.*
Delegates will be given an opportunity to use fire extinguishers.

Fire Risk Assessment:

  • The duty to conduct fire risk assessments
  • A brief introduction to fire risk assessment
  • Hazard identification and control measures

Emergency Procedures:

  • Means of escape
  • Fire/bomb threat drills
  • Fire registers
  • System testing

Role of Fire Warden:

  • Daily, weekly, monthly routines
  • Documentation
  • Action planning
