IOSH Managing Safely

This Institution of Occupational Safety and Health certificated course is designed for staff with management or supervisory responsibility for managing safely, ensuring best practice within the organisational framework and to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

IOSH Managing Safely is designed  for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation. The course concludes with a formal examination based on assessment of skills and underpinning knowledge. Successful candidates are awarded the IOSH Managing Safely certificate.

IOSH Managing Safely 1-Day Refresher

This Institution of Occupational Safety and Health certificated course is designed for staff with management or supervisory responsibility for managing safely, ensuring best practice within the organisational framework and to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Delegates need to have passed the full 4-day course and IOSH recommend that delegates refresh their knowledge every 3 years.

The course concludes with a formal examination based on assessment of skills and underpinning knowledge. Successful candidates are awarded the IOSH Managing Safely certificate.

IOSH Working Safely

This course aims to instruct and inform staff in Working Safely issues to ensure that their actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and that individual responsibilities are clearly understood. The course is ideal for use as part of an induction program but can also form part of ongoing training.

    • Objectives: 1 Day - All levels of staff in all sectors of industry and commerce requiring a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation and current best practice.

The hazards of work are generally recognised and controlled. However, the long-term chronic or indeed some short term or acute effects of exposure to substances remains a major problem within our working environment. It is only in the recent past that some of the suffering from long-term exposures to hazardous substance has come to light; the effects on the individual, the costs to the employer and to the nation are becoming far higher than other safety related costs.

Manual Handling "Train the Trainer"

For employers who have large numbers of staff requiring training or an ongoing training need, Line Business Services provide a course designed to equip line managers, supervisors or team leaders with sufficient knowledge and skill to be able to conduct the manual handling training course

CCNSG Safety Passport

The CCNSG National Course is a two day course for basic site safety. The CCNSG National Course is valid for three years from the date of the course.
