Asbestos Management (1 Day)
The hazards of working with asbestos are generally recognised and controlled. However the long-term, chronic or indeed some of the short term or acute effects of exposure to asbestos remain a major problem within our working environment. It is only now that some of the devastating effects of long-term exposures to asbestos: serious ill health or death, are really being felt. The effects on the individual, the costs to the employer and to the country are becoming far higher than other safety related costs.
